The LRT public transport system was introduced in the Klang Valley with the LRT System 1 which runs from Ampang/Sri Petaling to Sentul Timur and was operated by Sistem Transit Aliran Ringan Sdn Bhd (STAR) in a privatisation project while the LRT System 2 which runs from Kelana Jaya to Gombak was privatised to Projek Usahasama Transit Ringan Automotif Sdn Bhd (PUTRA). The KL Monorail is an intracity public transit system that links many key destinations within Kuala Lumpur. It passes major hotels in the city and serves its central commercial, employment and shopping district. The 8.6km long KL Monorail system runs across 11 stations that stretches from KL Sentral in Brickfields through the central business district of Kuala Lumpur, ending at Titiwangsa Station in Jalan Tun Razak.

TRAFFIC STOPPED FOR 12 HOURS AFTER LANDSLIDES

KOTA KINABALU: A number of landslides on a kilometre stretch of road linking here and the east coast brought traffic to a standstill for 12 hours from about midnight yesterday.
Ranau landslides

 Thirty four people had a narrow escape when a bus, a lorry and a four-wheel drive vehicle they were travelling in were struck by falling trees and thick mud on the road in Miruru, Ranau about 190km from here.
 It is the main road connecting the state capital here and the major east coast districts such as Sandakan, Tawau, Lahad Datu, Beluran, Kinabatangan and Semporna.
 Public Works Department workers and those from road maintanence contractors managed to clear a single lane of the road to allow motorists through by noon.
 Vehicles, mostly lorries transporting goods, passenger buses and vans, lined up by the road at both ends of the landslides, number six,  about 20km west of Telupid town and about 70km from Ranau town.
 Heavy rain in Sungai Labuk also brought flash floods to three villages in the Telupid area, less than five kilometres away from where the landslides were, cutting access to vehicles for about three hours from 3am to 6am.
 Police said there were 32 people in the bus that was hit by a tree adding that they were travelling from here to Tawau when it happened at about 12.25am.
 "There were also one four wheel drive vehicle and a lorry that got caught in the mud as well as the fallen trees," the police spokesman said.
 The two drivers and those in the bus were not hurt.

Scope of Responsibilities
To provide effective reservoir engineering capabilities to Petrofac Malaysia. This will involve all aspects of reservoir engineering and in particular, the building of reservoir simulation models to establish the optimal development of the Cendor Field in the medium and long term, as well as participating in reviews and analysis of new prospects/ opportunities within existing or new block. Reservoir Management
- Update medium and long term reservoir management plan
- Build, maintain and update the dynamic reservoir database and simulation models
- Define ways to improve the recovery factor within the field – CO2 injection, artificial lift, water floodpattern, infill drilling, etc
- Prepare medium to long-term production forecasts
- Work closely with the other sub-surface team members to optimise workflows and provide solutions to complex reservoir description and field development issues
- Identify additional opportunities within the PM304 area
- Prepare work scopes, select contractors and efficiently manage out-sourced projects
- Prepare technical and management reports
- Be wiling to assume team leader responsibilities at times
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or Earth Science from a recognised university
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in similar position, preferably with an oil company (fresh graduates or between 1-3 year experience for the junior position)
- Expert in using industry software covering reservoir simulation, well test analysis, wellflow analysis, PVT analysis

PETROLEUM ENGINEER
To provide effective reservoir management and production engineering capability to Petrofac Malaysia. This will involve well and reservoir monitoring &surveillance for water flooding reservoir, integrated production system modeling, well optimisation, short-term production forecasting and hydrocarbon accounting.
Operational Support
- Monitor day-to-day oil production and water injection. Advise production monthly target consistent with stipulated Reservoir Management Plan (RMP)
- Interface with operations unit to maximise daily production and ensuring high quality data acquisition (e.g well tests data)
- Conduct technical analysis on decline curve, volumetric, material balance, surveillance, outflow, and pressure build up

Long Term Reservoir Management
- Work closely with reservoir engineering team to develop longterm production forecast in order to maximise long term oil recovery. Assist in data gathering recommendations as required
- Prepare work scopes, select contractors and manage out-sourced projects efficiently and effectively
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or Earth Science from a recognised university
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in similar position, preferably with an oil company

Scope of Responsibilities
Leads production technology activities covering feasibility studies, conceptual and detailed engineering phases of PM304 development project. TINGKAHLAKU & ADAB SEMASA TEMUDUGA
  1. Semasa hendak masuk ke bilik temuduga JANGANLAH gentar. Buatlah seperti biasa saja. Ucapkan “Selamat Pagi” atau “Selamat Petang” mengikut pada keadaan waktu. Ini nanti akan memberi perasaan mesra di antara anda dan penemuduga.

  2. Jangan hulurkan tangan anda untuk berjabat tangan selagi penemuduga itu tidak berbuat gerakan dahulu yang ianya hendak berbuat demikian.

  3. Janganlah anda duduk selagi tidak disuruh. Apabila anda disuruh duduk, ucapkan terima kasih dan duduklah dengan sempurna serta tegakkan badan. Jangan menggelisah.

  4. Jangan anda letakkan barang-barang atau tangan ataupun siku anda di atas meja penemuduga itu.

  5. Jangan anda cuba hendak mengalih keadaan kerusi yang disediakan itu.

  6. Jangan goyang-goyangkan kaki ataupun menggerakkannya di sana sini. Jangan pula anda cuba hendak membaca surat-surat dan lain-lain kertas di atas meja penemuduga itu

  7. Biarkan penemuduga itu memulakan temuduga.

  8. Janganlah anda menjawab soalan-soalan dengan tergopoh-gapah. Sebaliknya jawablah dengan tenang dan jelas serta mudah didengar. Jawapan yang anda beri itu hendaklah tepat. Jangan bercakap panjang lebar, dan jangan gunakan bahasa kasar

  9. Apabila bercakap pandanglah ke muka penemuduga itu. Jika ahli-ahli panel yang menemuduga itu lebih daripada seorang maka arahkan jawapan-jawapan anda kepada Ketua Panel

  10. Gunakan perkataan seperti Tuan atau Puan pada orang yang tertentu dari masa ke semasa, tetapi janganlah selalu menggunakannya

  11. Jangan menyampuk semasa penemuduga itu sedang bercakap dan jangan sekali-kali berbalah dengannya.

  12. Jangan merokok ataupun mengunyah apa-apa di dalam mulut.

  13. Jangan sekali-kali mengeluarkan kata-kata yang tidak benar semasa dalam temuduga.

  14. Jika anda tidak tahu jawapan yang disoal itu, janganlah cuba hendak berbohong ataupun mendiamkan diri sahaja, kerana ini akan melemahkan peluang anda. Eloklah anda bercakap terus terang yang anda tidak tahu jawapannya.

  15. Bersedia memberitahu penemuduga tentang keluarga anda, persekolahan, kegemaran dan aktiviti anda. Jangan bercakap melebihi dan yang tidak sepatutnya.

  16. Jangan berbincang apa-apa masalah peribadi anda semasa temuduga.

  17. Jika anda pernah bekerja dahulu, berilah keterangan dengan ringkas dan tepat berkenaan dengan pekerjaan itu.

  18. Jangan sekali-kali anda cuba hendak mencela bekas majikan anda.

  19. Nyatakan kelayakan dan kelulusan anda yang benar, tetapi janganlah membesar-besarkan perkara itu.

  20. Anda hendaklah mengetahui serba sedikit akan tugas-tugas yang bersabit dengan pekerjaan itu, masa yang dijangka kena bekerja dan gajinya yang akan dibayar pada permulaannya.

  21. Bersedialah untuk memberitahu kadar gaji yang anda ingin. Walau bagaimanapun biarlah penemuduga itu mengemukakan perkara itu terlebih dahulu.

  22. Jika penemuduga tidak menyatakan tarikh yang sepatutnya anda mengetahui keputusan temuduga itu, eloklah anda bertanya supaya anda boleh datang lagi ke pejabatnya untuk mengetahui keputusan itu. Jika ia bersetuju tanyakan tarikh dan masa yang sesuai baginya.

  23. Biarkan penemuduga itu menamatkan temuduga.

  24. Ucapkan terima kasih kepada penemuduga kerana memberi peluang kepada anda menyertai temuduga itu.
